The Importance of Ovulation

What do you know about ovulation?

Most of us have some understanding that it's how we get pregnant and is something that happens on a monthly basis.

Some women have no signs of ovulation, however others experience some indication around halfway through their cycle.

Are you familiar with the signs of ovulation?

As we become more familiar with our bodies, we are able to notice subtle changes throughout the month.

Ovulation generally occurs around day 14, and is when a mature egg is released from the ovary.

The egg then makes its way down the fallopian tube, where it can be fertilised.

Signs that you may experience during this short period of time include:

🌷Increase in body temperature

🌷Cervical mucus/fluid

🌷Breast tenderness

🌷Mittelschmerz (cramps/spasms)

🌷Change in cervical position

🌷Increased libido
